Monica Simoni was born in Montecatini Terme in 1960. She currently lives and works in Uzzano.

​Monica's works give the effect of colors and lines that run together, producing a sense of visual turmoil and intimate suggestions that give rise to a thousand suppositions at the individual level.

 

​Observing certain curves, certain intersections, certain attempts to include some depictions, albeit always along the line of abstraction, the abstract conceptions can evolve within the watcher in a way that gets defined in the end in shapes, outlines, sensations, memories of their own past and experiences.

​

Monica Simoni's painting frees the mind from conventional patterns projecting it towards  existential evasions, fantastic yet attainable.
